Things to know if you’re the gym owner
Below is some basic information on how our software agreements work. If you didn’t know, we here at Crux Software are climbing gym owners too. So when we developed the product and its business procedures we kept people like us in mind. If you have any questions, please feel free to call. We walk every potential customer through a full demo of the software answering as many questions as we can.
The Below information is pertaining to Redpoint Manager Software only.
What is included in our software packages?
Redpoint Manager developed by Crux Software, LTD is a web-based software product. When purchasing any of our software packages you are purchasing the right to utilize and activate an account with us. Crux Software, LTD activates your account and host your gym’s route and member base information on our secure, encrypted, and replicating servers. We offer our products with (12-24 month) agreements. Even after your term has ended with us, as a courtesy, we store your facility’s data for an additional 12 months in case your company would like to re-commit to another term with one of our products.
As briefly explained above, included in the use of our software are multiple data-backup safety features. All customer’s company data is backed up to our servers daily for the prevention of any lost information. If your system goes down or equipment fails, rest assured that all of your content will remain safely on our servers.
Equipment
Screens and Computer Equipment is not included in our packages. We do recommend trusted “IBM” touch screen (all in one) systems that we prefer for the use with our systems. Be it known that with the “IBM” systems customer support will be carried out by IBM and not Crux Software, LTD. If your company decides to not use a touch screen system, a regular computer with keyboard, mouse, and internet access will suffice.
Equipment Policy
Computers and touch screens used for your Redpoint Manager system are not insured or under warranty by Crux Software, LTD but only by the original manufacturer.
System Setup
During initial setup we work very closely with you to develop climbing gym location maps, instructions on inputting routes, creating seasons and structure, and understanding the basics of the software.
Software Updates
Updates to your package are included in your contract. Updates will be automatic, but your administrator will be informed one week prior to any changes to your software. Updates necessarily include: new additions, updated graphics, and other improvements to better the software’s performance and ability to help your business. We urge all of our customers to communicate often about what they feel could make Redpoint Manager even better.
Training Specification
All Redpoint Manager packages come with (8) hours of phone/web training. We push for teaching our customers everything needed to run their system within these 8 hours. We schedule these phone meetings over a two week timeframe with either (8) one hour trainings or (4) two hour trainings. We do offer continued technical support for free but urge customers to keep questions and concerns technical and not educational.
Upgrade Policy
System upgrades are included in all Redpoint Manager packages. We aim to release new updated versions of our software on a quarterly basis. Software updates are mandatory for all customers. Your facility’s administrator will be notified of all new changes and features through email at least one week prior to upgrades.
